Items shipped from Ceyloni Foods can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with the following exceptions:
Exceptions to Return Policy:
- Products missing the serial number or UPC.
- Products with special shipping restrictions imposed by Transport Canada (if applicable to food items, e.g., perishables with specific shipping needs - *clarify if this applies*).
- If the items have been opened, used, or are not in their original resalable condition (unless defective).
Return Process:
- Items should be returned using a trackable shipping method.
- Please share the tracking information with Ceyloni Foods customer service to expedite your return processing.
Data and Personal Items:
- You will be fully responsible for any data breach that may occur if you fail to remove and eliminate all personal data pertaining to you and/or any third party (This point seems more relevant for electronics. For food, it's less applicable unless it refers to account data for returns).
- You must remove from the returned product and from the box containing the returned product any item not pertaining to the returned product as originally received from Ceyloni Foods. (e.g. ensure no personal items are accidentally included in the return package).
Important Notes:
- Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment once the returned item is received and inspected.
- Shipping costs for returns may be the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).
